Ab-so-lutely, we cant stress how important is for proper adhesion as well as obtaining that buttery smooth finish to spray every door, drawer, and structure getting finished/refinished.

This completely depends on a variety of factors.
The Average Refinish takes 5 days for us from start to finish. We add 1 day for kitchens with 50+ doors, and we also at times depending on door count add 1 day for multiple colors.
When it is a new build where walls are not painted yet and floors are not in, there may be as much masking so we are able to finish in just a few days from start to finish.
This is a process you do not want to rush.

When refinishing we go through a vigorous preparation process to ensure it not only comes out looking & feel amazing, but lasts the test of time. We have more info on our preparation on our cabinet painting page.

A Couple Of Our Recent Reviews

“I highly recommend Fine Finish KC. At first, I was wary about using a new business, especially run by a young man. In comparison to a more established business who bid the job for about the same price, Fine Finish KC was much better in their communication with me. Answered all of my pestering questions about his processes, the type of paint he was using, and a list of previous customers for me to call for references. His 2 references were very complimentary–and they were not relatives. The cabinet painting process is very laborious and involves hand work. No shortcut was taken to hurry up the job.He uses an Italian paint by Renner, which I never heard of, that is higher quality than Sherwin Williams. It is sprayed on to be very smooth and no brushes are used. Fine Finish KC exceeded expectations by giving additional advice on pulls and hinges and fixing mistakes done by the countertop installation workers. If you are looking to refresh your cabinets, call them and get on his schedule. You will receive a first-class A+ job with excellent communication along the way and fair pricing. You don’t refinish your cabinets everyday, so be prepared to pay up for a premium job.”

“I am very impressed with the quality of work and the quality of communication with this company. I had a botched paint job on my cabinets from a previous company that i hired them to fix. They took their time to answer all my questions and explain their process. The cabinets had to be completely taken down to bare and started over. The owner is knowledgeable about painting cabinets. They spray everything and use a special primer and paint that dries quickly and to a hard finish. Everything was smooth and looked awesome. Also, they filled in the holes from the old hardware and drilled new holes for the updated hardware. All the hardware was centered and even. Everything was placed where I had requested. I would recommend them because they have specific knowledge about painting cabinets that really shows in the final product.”
